Gauge 5.5 stitches = 1” or 22 sts. = a 4 in square in Stockinette Stitch using a #5 needle
Length = S/M (M/L) 8.5 (9.5) “, head circumference = 19”(22.5)” You can easily knit the hat longer if you prefer. The stitch repeat is 18 stitches so there is no “in between” sizing available. That being said, if you fall outside either size range, you can knit the hat on bigger needles and get a bigger hat.
